MISSION, Texas — On Thursday, December 21, McAllen agents near Mission, Texas encountered a female Honduran national in distress. The woman was in pain and going into labor. While coordinating with a Border Patrol Emergency Medical Technician over the radio, agents were able to deliver the child and render aid. The mother and child were transported by an ambulance to the local hospital. Both the mother and the child remain in stable condition.
